VoiceFloat is designed to keep meeting recordings and transcripts under your control. Recording, speech recognition, and translation use macOS system frameworks on your Mac.
VoiceFloat stores recordings, transcripts, and metadata in the local folder you choose or in your personal iCloud Drive container. This content is not uploaded to VoiceFloat servers because VoiceFloat does not operate a recording or transcription backend.
If you choose iCloud Drive, Apple processes and synchronizes those files under your Apple Account and Apple privacy terms.
VoiceFloat may send anonymous product-interaction events to TelemetryDeck only when you enable analytics in Settings. These events help measure whether core flows such as trial activation, successful recording, paywall display, purchase result categories, and purchase restoration work correctly.
Analytics events do not include audio, transcript or translation text, filenames, file paths, contact information, or raw error messages. VoiceFloat does not use analytics data for advertising or cross-app tracking. You can disable analytics at any time in Settings.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. VoiceFloat receives verified entitlement status and does not receive your payment-card details.
VoiceFloat requests Microphone permission for microphone audio and Screen Recording permission for system audio capture. These permissions are used only when you start a recording or perform a related action.
You can delete recordings from VoiceFloat. Deleted recording folders are moved to the macOS Trash when possible. To remove synchronized copies, also allow iCloud Drive to finish syncing the deletion. Disabling analytics prevents future analytics events; existing aggregate records may remain according to TelemetryDeck retention practices.
VoiceFloat does not sell personal data and does not share recordings or transcripts with advertisers or data brokers.
